ENJOY A BUG FREE HOME THIS SUMMER..
Some mosquitoes can spread viruses like West Nile disease, which can make you or your loved ones sick. Here at S.O.S Wildlife control, we care about your family’s safety and well being so we provide the option of using a garlic spay to keep insects away. Experienced farmers have been using this solution for many generations due to its effectiveness. Since mosquitoes are soft-bodied insects, the garlic juice can be very toxic to them in increased concentrations. Call us today and learn more about our mosquito control service..
OUR MOSQUITO CONTROL PROCESS
FULL INSPECTION OF YOUR FRONT AND BACKYARD
During this process we will fully inspect your property to assess where most of the mosquitos are coming from, where they tend to nest and breed; and develop a proper plan so that you can enjoy the outdoors. Our experienced technicians know all the little nooks and crannies that attract mosquitoes and can help you eliminate these breeding grounds.
APPLY PREVENTION TO THE AFFECTED AREAS
After a full inspection we will consult with you and determine what is the best course of action for your home. This could be suggesting using a more natural garlic concentrate on your property to clear out all your mosquito problems, while keeping your home chemical free. Or we could use something more potent. Once we have determined a course of action, our team will spray your property to handle the mosquito infestation, and for prevention purposes.
SEASON LONG PREVENTION FOR YOUR HOME
S.O.S Wildlife Control only provides the highest quality of service. In order to properly protect your home, a monthly seasonal mosquito program will keep your home mosquito free.
Our seasonal program guarantees that you will see a greatly reduced mosquito presence on your property. If you are not satisfied within the first 14 days of the application, we will re-treat your property at no extra cost.
MOSQUITO SERVICE GUARANTEE
Mosquito Service Guarantee:If you experience biting between monthly treatments, Mosquito Hero will happily re-treat your property. While we cannot guarantee the complete elimination of mosquitoes in your yard – populations will be greatly reduced.
Effective population control is greatly enhanced with a season-long mosquito control program.
Frequently Asked Mosquito Control Questions
WHAT ARE SOME EFFECTIVE METHODS FOR MOSQUITO CONTROL?
Eliminate Standing Water: Mosquitoes lay their eggs in standing water. To reduce mosquito breeding, eliminate or reduce sources of standing water around your home: such as birdbaths, clogged gutters, flower pots, and containers. Keep swimming pools properly maintained.
Plant Mosquito-Repelling Plants: Some plants, like citronella, lavender, and marigolds, can help deter mosquitoes when planted in your garden.
Maintain Your Yard:Keep your lawn and garden well-maintained to reduce potential mosquito habitats. Trim tall grass, remove leaf litter, and trim vegetation near your home.
Insecticide Sprays:Use insecticide sprays or foggers in outdoor areas, especially before outdoor gatherings or events. Ensure you follow safety guidelines when using these products.
WHAT ARE THE HEALTH RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH MOSQUITOES?
Malaria:Malaria is a serious and potentially life-threatening disease caused by the Plasmodium parasite. It is transmitted to humans through the bite of infected Anopheles mosquitoes. Symptoms include fever, chills, and flu-like illness.
Dengue Fever: Dengue is a viral disease transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes. Symptoms can range from mild to severe; with high fever, severe headache, joint and muscle pain, and, in severe cases, dengue hemorrhagic fever.
Zika Virus:Zika is a viral infection transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes. Infections during pregnancy can lead to birth defects in newborns. Common symptoms include fever, rash, joint pain, and red eyes.
West Nile Virus: West Nile virus is primarily transmitted by Culex mosquitoes. Many people infected with West Nile virus do not develop symptoms, but in some cases, it can cause fever, headache, and rarely even severe neurologic illness.
Chikungunya: Chikungunya is a viral disease transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes. It causes fever and severe joint pain among other symptoms.
Yellow Fever: Yellow fever is a viral disease transmitted by Aedes or Haemagogus mosquitoes in tropical regions. It can lead to severe illness with symptoms like fever, chills, and bleeding.
ARE THERE NATURAL WAYS TO CONTROL MOSQUITOES WITHOUT USING CHEMICALS?
There are more natural sprays you can use on your property. Here at S.O.S Wildlife Control, we use a special blend of garlic spray to prevent mosquitoes from coming to your property that is safe for humans and pets.
WHY SHOULD YOU TREAT MOSQUITOES ON A MONTHLY BASIS DURING THE SEASON?
We suggest you have a monthly program because of the weather. The rain and irrigation systems can slowly wash away the effectiveness of the spray solution. To ensure your property is mosquito free we suggest a seasonal mosquito program.
